Royal Oman Police News: Four arrested in Muscat with 59 heroin capsules

Muscat - 

Officials from the Directorate General of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in Muscat arrested four persons, including two Omani nationals, on charges of possessing and trafficking narcotics.

The accused were arrested from Ghala and Qurm industrial estates, and 59 heroin capsules were found in their possession


Customs officials honoured

Brig Gen Issa bin Said al Kymoumi, the director general of customs, awarded several employees of his directorate general for their dedication to service and excellent performance at a ceremony held recently. The event was attended by a number of officers from the directorate general.


Pacts for housing project signed

Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsen al Shraiqi, the Inspector General of Police and Customs, on Sunday signed three agreements with companies on  a housing complex for police personnel in Qurm’s Sarooj area.

The project will comprise 585 housing units in three buildings built over an area of 65,800m2. A number of senior ROP and company officials attended the signing ceremony.
