The International Telecommunication Union Arab Regional Centre for Cybersecurity is organising the drill in Doha, Qatar till March 9, stated a press release. Sixteen Arab countries are taking part in it. It aims to enhance cybersecurity in the Arab countries through training national skills to deal with information emergency, the attacks and cybersecurity risks.
It also aims to create a platform for Arab cooperation to face the current challenges in the field of cybersecurity. The activities include several sessions on how to deal with cybersecurity issues and an assessment of readiness (fake attack), where participants will take the actions required to deal with the most prominent cyberattacks suffered by the Arab countries.
