As part of its efforts to make citizens and residents aware about the effects of drugs and psychotropic substances abuse, the Directorate General for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances is holding a mobile exhibition at Amerat Park.
The mobile exhibition educates visitors on the dangerous effects of using narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, according to a press release issued by ROP.
The exhibition has various photographs of drugs and related information on why people should avoid taking them.
Visitors are also given brochures and pamphlets, which provide information on the effects of drug abuse in society. ROP officials also brief visitors on different types of drugs and how people get addicted to them. The exhibition highlights aftermaths of drug abuse on the individual and society.
