PAEW unveils new identity

Muscat -

The Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) on Tuesday unveiled its new identity ‘Diam’ as part of its modernisation efforts. The new institutional identity aims to create more awareness about the authority's work among its customers, staff and society.

It is a step initiated by PAEW to highlight its role in supplying high quality and uninterrupted potable water to citizens and residents of the sultanate. The identity reflects the progress witnessed by the authority since its establishment in 2007 and its vision of supplying high quality potable water to all residents of the sultanate.

To achieve its vision, PAEW has developed an ambitious strategy of supplying potable water to 98 per cent of the population by 2040. The authority seeks to focus on customers, improve operational efficiency and develop its human resources on par with similar international organisations.

The blue colour of the identity symbolises potable water supplied by the authority while green symbolises purity and health. The new identity also reflects PAEW’s ambitions of being open to development, professionalism, transparency, prosperity and happiness.
