PACP recalls Chevrolet Silverado, GMC-Sierra and Toyota Lexus cars

The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) in collaboration with Moosa Abdul Rahman Hassan  Company has launched a campaign to recall 472 Chevrolet Silverado and GM C-Sierra 2014 and 2015 models.

The recalls have been ordered to rectify a possible fault  in the seatbelt tensioner cable  in some of these vehicles.

The company will fix the problem, the release said.

PACP in cooperation with the Saud Bahwan Group has also recalled 1,080 Lexus (NX200t) 2015-17 models.

According to the authority, the vehicles are being recalled due to a possible fault in the brake system.

The authority has confirmed that the company will reprogram the system in accordance with the instructions sent by the Toyota Motor Corporation, the release added.
