Oman takes part in Cairo book fair
Muscat -
Oman's Ministry of Heritage and Culture (MoHC) is taking part in the 17th International Book Fair, which began in Cairo, Egypt on January 23. The Al Dhamri library, Muscat library and the Al Jeel al Waaed library are also taking part in the fair.
The MoHC has displayed some of the popular Omani books published in 2012. The books are selected through an annual assessment made by the Directorate General of Organisations and Cultural Relations, the release added. Omani publishing houses and writers have an opportunity to interact with representatives from other countries at the event, which will conclude on February 5.
