Oct 31 last day to register for PSC elections

Pakistan Social Club (PSC) will conduct its board elections on April 30, 2012 and the last date to file nominations is October 31. Elections will be conducted for 12 positions including president, chairman, vice chairman and finance secretary. Those elected will hold the positions for a period of two years.

The last date to become a PSC member is also October 31. “We invite all interested Pakistani expatriates to become voters, obtain or renew their membership before October 31,” said AH Raja, chairman, PSC.

In 2010, there were only 12 candidates for the elections and they were elected unopposed. Syed Aftab Gilani, finance secretary, PSC said, “This time we expect more contestants to be in the fray.”
