OPP marks completion of phase II of its expansion plan

H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Obaid al Sa’eedi, Minister of Health, last week graced a ceremony that marked the completion of Oman Pharmaceuticals Products (OPP) phase II expansion plan at Raysut Industrial Estate in Dhofar governorate.

The ceremony was attended by a number of excellencies, advisors, and directors general, stated a press release.

Jaideep Rai Singh, CEO, OPP said that in the last 16 years the company has grown from a local company to be a global player. The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities have been approved by key regulatory agencies like the Ministry of Health, GCC authorities, US-FDA, MHRA-UK, TGA-Australia, MCC-South Africa and a host of other regulatory authorities.

With over a 1,000 registrations, OPP products are sold in more than 40 countries across the globe.

Singh added that OPP is also one of the largest suppliers of effervescent tablets to Europe.
A new effervescent granulation unit also consolidates its position in the GCC as the largest manufacturer of effervescent tablets.

At the end of the ceremony, H E Dr Sa’eedi and the attendees toured the factory and were briefed on its operation mechanism and facilities.v
