During the gathering, Atif Sulaiman al Alawi, manager, Group Branding and Communication at Nama Holding, highlighted the role of media representatives in supporting the group’s communication mission to ‘leverage technology for effective communication campaigns, reputation and change management to build brand equity and deliver sustainable stakeholder value’ and the importance of their effective contribution by continuously engaging with the communication team.
Alawi also presented Nama Group’s communication plan for 2017 and discussed plans for collaboration and also discussed the first sustainability report (Global Reporting Initiative) with all media representatives.
Furthermore, the communication team launched the new ‘Nama Ring Tone’ as part of the communication plan.
The tone will support the group’s sustainability policy with all sales proceeds to be contributed to local charities.
Ghada Mohamed al Yousef, executive manager - Nama Group Communication and Sustainability, said: “We strongly believe in the media’s role in reaching our stakeholders; we aim to create an environment where prompt responses are provided.”
