Modern Exchange to hold seminar on Indian budget

Homi Phiroze Ranina, an eminent legal luminary and chartered accountant, will be the keynote speaker. A Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a trained lawyer, Ranina is an advocate at Supreme Court of India. Ranina has over 30 years experience. He is known for his insight and rich expertise in matters related to taxation, finance and corporate management. Ranina has served as director of Reserve Bank of India.

He will discuss his experience and thoughts on the overall trends and implications of the Union Budget 2017 that will impact India. Some of the highlights will focus on the budget aimed at creating a strong base for economic growth, setting up progressive policies and fiscal discipline. Aligning various measures towards employment generation and an agenda for faster economic growth with special focus on areas demanding utmost attention viz, rural sector, agriculture, social security, health, education infrastructure, financial sector and entrepreneurship.
