The outlet will be spread over three floors with ample parking facilities for customers. It will sell electronic items, IT products, home appliances, stationery and other household items.
Addressing a press conference recently, VT Vinod, managing director of Mars International, said, “Branded products from leading companies will be available at the new outlet. The outlet will also have a special section dedicated to fresh foodstuff like fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meat and fish.”
Vinod added that there will be nine cash counters including two swift billing counters to ensure a hassle-free shopping experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Naveej Vinod, executive director, Mars International, said, “Our winning formula lies in value for money that customers get while purchasing products from us. Our expansion is going according to plan and this will be Mars’ eighth outlet in Oman. We are also exploring possibilities to enter other GCC countries.”
Other officials from Mars group including, Unnikrishna Pillai, general manager; Saif Ali al Maliki, administration manager, and Santosh Pillai, operations manager, attended the event.
