His Majesty the Sultan meets Yemeni President

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said received President Field Marshal Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi of Yemen, who is in the sultanate on a two-day official visit, at Bait al Barka on Tuesday afternoon.

His Majesty the Sultan and President Hadi reviewed bilateral relations during their meeting. Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Darwish bin Ismail bin Ali al Balushi, Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, and other dignitaries also attended the meeting.

His Majesty the Sultan also held a round of closed-door discussions with Hadi, and later hosted a dinner in honour of the Yemeni President.

President Hadi is being accompanied on the visit by a delegation comprising Abu Bakr Abdullah al Qirbi, Foreign Minister, Dr Mohammed bin Said al Saadi, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and other dignitaries.
