Emir of Qatar concludes two day visit to sultanate

Muscat - 

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar and the delegation accompanying him, left Muscat on Tuesday after a two-day official visit to Oman during which he met with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. 

The Emir of Qatar and the delegation were seen off by Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq al Said; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court; Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nuamani, Minister of Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs; Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Minister of Justice and head of the mission of honour accompanying the Emir; Nasr bin Hamoud bin Ahmed al Kindi, Secretary General of Royal Court Affairs; Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad al Wahaibi, Oman's Ambassador to Qatar; Qatar's Ambassador to Qatar; and other senior officials.

His Majesty the Sultan also received a cable of thanks from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani on the conclusion of his visit to Oman.

The Emir expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the delegation accompanying him during the visit.

The Emir also affirmed that his visit was a good opportunity to support strong bilateral ties and enhance cooperation between the two countries.
