EduTraC Oman to hold US varsities exhibition from October 18-20

The world’s leading study destination for international students, the US boasts of over 150 of the world’s leading universities. The number of international students opting to study in the US is rising every year, and may reach a million in the near future.

The US boasts of over 4,000 top-ranking universities, ranging from public universities to private colleges.

The third edition of EduTraC Oman will host 15 top universities and colleges from the US. The three-day expo is organised to help students and parents in Oman to plan their higher education. Students visiting the exhibition will be able to obtain course information.

Megan Lindle, admissions officer, University of Cincinnati, said, “University of Cincinnati offers a global scholarship for qualified international undergraduates as well as competitive scholarships for qualified graduate applicants.

“We are fortunate to currently host 25 impressive Omani scholarship recipients and we look forward to welcoming future talent into our community. We are pleased to participate in EduTraC Oman 2016 to promote the University of Cincinnati to Omani students.”

Martyn J Miller, interim assistant vice president, Temple University, said, “We look forward to welcome students from Oman.” Christy Watkins, public affairs officer at the US Embassy Muscat, said, “The embassy will hold a special presentation on applying for student visa to the US on October 19 from 5:30-6:30pm in the seminar area at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.”

The expo will be open to visitors from October 18–20 at the new Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre between 10am to 8pm.
