2 die in Suwaiq crash; 1 dies in Rusayl accident

Three Omanis were killed on Monday in two separate accidents in Suwaiq and Rusayl, according to ROP. Two men in their early twenties were crushed to death when their saloon car collided with a trailer near the Suwaiq roundabout on Monday afternoon.
“The collision happened at around 2pm,” a senior ROP official said. “One man died on the spot while the other died in Suwaiq Hospital. There were no other casualties.” A man aged around 24 years was killed in a similar accident near the Areej company premises in Rusayl. “The mishap occurred at around 12.30pm when his Mitsubishi Galant, collided with the trailer.
The trailer's driver was in the right lane when the victim lost control and his car came in the trailer's way,” an official from the Azaiba police station said
